Collective Canvas
This joyful collaboration was an ambitious initiative for Arup’s 90 offices worldwide to participate in a collective art event and explore what the new corporate strategy means to their members.
A collaborative, firm-wide art event attracted thousands across 90+ offices, from Montreal to Madrid and from Mauritius to Manila. It brought together different insights and perspectives to create unique artworks, harnessing the collaborative spirit that is at the heart of Arup.
From concept idea to creative direction, I worked directly with Arup’s CEO and wider leadership team to craft an inspiring narrative and design this programme. Over 5,000 participants took part in the drawing events and contributed to a collective canvas.
The final drawing is an outcome of over 150 canvasses created around the world, where over 5,000 Arupians drew what they believe Arup will do in the next 100 years to shape a better world.
The graphic and all associated visual assets have been used in Arup’s 2025-30 strategy and will continue to be used for internal comms to engage with members about their shared values shaping Arup’s collective work.
